The HV outputs are protected against output shorts and load transients. The outputs are fused and allow momentary load surge. The amplifier also has current limiting, voltage transient suppression and current sensing for power supply crowbar circuits. The condition of the High voltage outputs and crowbar circuits are indicated by LED's located on each amplifier PCB.
The amplifier is fitted with full EMI protection; the power input is via a low leakage EMI filter. All major components and wiring are UL specified.
